I actually had a pretty good Christmas season. Went out and spent five spectacular days with my beautiful girlfriend in Seattle, and then came home and spent Christmas eve and Christmas morning with my two wonderful sons and extended family.
Now we have a short three day work week, as we get ready to usher in the new year!
I was going to post some stuff before I went to Seattle, but I wasn't 100% sure that the world would be around by the time I got back... what with that dreaded end of the world stuff going on and all. Amazing how we survived the end of the world... once again!
I'll have to catch up on the political world... you know, read about how our responsilble intelligent congress and Administration worked together as a team and avoided the fiscal cliff, and figured out a way to lower the deficit and all... which I am sure that they did while I wasn't paying attention.
Last, but not least.... how about them Vikings? (I didn't watch the game, but heard through the grapevine that the pounded on the Texans)

glad you are back. Seattle is a beautiful town. Now come take on the Falcons
My Lions and Chiefs will be better next year.
Welcome Back , bless you and yours.
Mine could have been better but could have been a lot worse. My dad broke his hip and will spend about two months in a nursing home rehabilitating. I'd heard he wasn't making much progress in his rehabilitation but in the three days since I've been back I've seen a lot of progress. He won't get home until after I have to head home but it's pretty clear he will be coming home.

Well, they did make a deal ... but it looks like the House Circus Clowns want to screw it up.
