Supposed to be hearing back from billing and sales regarding what they can do for me in terms of a new hosting plan. Their original idea (to put me on a dedicated server) is a non-starter.... as I am not about to triple my cost to get a bunch of upgrades I don't need. I don't need the disk space, I don't use much bandwidth, and for all practical purposes I just need a couple more GB of RAM. One would think that this could be accomplished without much difficultly through a VPS situation.
I am hoping that since I now have a payment due that is currently on hold, that I may get some response. I am hoping to work something out. Otherwise, my other option is to change hosts, as there are hosts who allow you to customize your VPS to included up to 4GB or even 8GB of RAM without requiring you to upgrade everything else..
Hopefully I will get something done this week.
